Kids Eat Free With Books For Bites

Donate a book and get a free meal from the kids menu at ZARI. 

Our “Books for Bites” campaign is to raise money for Save The Children Charity while schools out for Summer. In the holidays you can join in this fun campaign by brining the kids to ZARI and donating a book in return for a free meal from the children’s menu. By participating, you can make a meaningful impact on children’s lives and foster a love for reading.

How It Works In 3 Steps

  1. Bring a Book To Donate
    Bring a book to ZARI Restaurant. Your donation can be any book that you think will inspire and educate young minds.
  2. Hand It To A Member of Staff At ZARI
    A member of staff will take your book off you and keep it safe to donate to Save The Children Charity.
  3. Enjoy a Free Dinner
    As a thank you for your generosity, your child will receive a complimentary dinner with every book donation when ordered with a main meal from the A La Carte Menu. It’s our way of saying thank you for your support and for helping to make a difference.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Eligibility: This offer is available to children aged 12 and under.
  2. Program Duration: Valid during the UK summer School holidays. 23rd July to 1st September 2024
  3. Qualifying Conditions:
    • Each child must donate at least one book in good condition to participate.
    • Every adult at the table must purchase a main meal from the a la carte menu for the child at their table to receive a free meal from the kids menu.
  4. Limitations:
    • The offer is valid All Week; excluded on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00pm
    • A maximum of two free kids’ meals are available for each adult main meal purchased. Each Adult on the table must order a main meal to participate.
    • Larger groups with more than two children per adult will need additional adults ordering main meals to claim more free kids’ meals. For example, for five kids’ meals, at least three adults must each order a main meal.
  5. Reward Redemption:
    • The free kid’s meal must be claimed during the same visit when the book is donated and the adult’s main meal is purchased.
  6. General Conditions:
    • This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion or discount. eg Bottomless Brunch or any other offer advertised cannot be used in conjunction.
    • Subject to availability. The restaurant reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer without prior notice.
  7. Promotion and Communication:
    • The campaign will be advertised through in-house signage, the restaurant’s social media platforms, local community groups, and collaborations with local libraries and schools.
  8. Donations: The books donated will be going to our Save The Children in Brighton our local charity partners in Crawley. Donations made online and in the charity boxes will be sent to Save The Children Charity head quarters in the UK.
